Senior Software Engineer – Cloud Platform (Azure)

About the role

AVEVA is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its Common Cloud Platform team. You will design and build Azure‑based solutions that power a portfolio of industrial software, helping customers lower IT costs and accelerate digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to deliver infrastructure and data services that meet business and compliance requirements.
• Evaluate system architecture, perform risk analysis and apply mitigation strategies.
• Implement secure development practices, support compliance activities and maintain technical documentation.

Required profile

• Strong software development experience in C# (.NET) or Node.js.
• Hands‑on experience designing and deploying cloud solutions, preferably on Azure.
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and authentication/authorization concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and containerized environments.
• Commitment to secure software development, including threat modeling.
