Senior Software Engineer, AI DevEx

About the role

We are looking for a senior engineer to build the infrastructure that enables AI agents to handle most of our software development tasks. This remote‑first position is part of a fast‑growing fantasy sports startup.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain cloud coding environments that developers and AI agents can spin up instantly.
• Develop autonomous coding agents that turn tickets, bug reports, or alerts into reviewed pull requests with testing, validation, and compliance checks.
• Integrate agents with SRE tooling such as Datadog to create fix PRs from production alerts.
• Provide an agent platform for non‑engineering teams, including runtime, triggers, and guardrails.

Required profile

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on infrastructure, platform, or developer tooling.
• Hands‑on experience using AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) and understanding their limitations.
• Proven ability to work remotely across US and Prague time zones, communicating clearly and proactively.

• AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS, Lambda, networking, IAM)
• Infrastructure as code (CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform)
• Containers and orchestration (Docker, devcontainers, Kubernetes, Nix)
• CI/CD pipeline development
• TypeScript and Node.js development
• Observability tools (OpenTelemetry, tracing, cost tracking)
