Senior Social Media Specialist

About the role

Fever, a tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is looking for a hands-on, well-connected and strategically minded Senior Social Media Specialist based in New York City. The role owns and elevates Fever's social media presence across the US and English-speaking markets, going beyond day-to-day content management to lead onsite activations, run campaign stunts and produce social-first content at events. It sits within the Marketing & Growth team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead social media strategy for the US and English-speaking markets, driving brand awareness and audience growth.
• Plan, produce and be onsite for social-first activations, stunts and campaign moments at Fever events in New York and other US cities.
• Build a network of media contacts, cultural figures, creators and industry professionals in New York.
• Film, edit and publish short-form video (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) autonomously and on tight timelines.
• Pitch creative content concepts and viral campaign ideas rooted in cultural trends and local relevance.
• Collaborate with Creative Strategy, Growth, Influencer Marketing and Events teams, and coordinate with the Madrid-based teams.
• Write on-brand copy and monitor social performance, sentiment, competitors and trends, reporting KPIs regularly.
• Act as a key representative in New York and point of contact for local partners and clients on social media matters.

Required profile

• Based in New York City; English native, fluent Spanish a strong plus.
• 6+ years of experience in social media management, content creation or a similar role, ideally in entertainment, lifestyle, events or culture.
• PR-oriented, with deep knowledge of New York and its trends.
• Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Required skills

• Canva and CapCut, with end-to-end short-form video production.
• Experience defining, tracking and reporting social media KPIs.
• Comfortable working with cross-functional and international teams across time zones.
