Senior Site Superintendent / Project Manager – Residential Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Superintendent / Project Manager to lead complex residential construction projects across the Boston area. The role involves independently managing two to three active projects from mobilization through final turnover, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations on multiple Boston‑area construction sites.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, consultants, utilities, and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, look‑ahead plans, sequencing, deliveries, and site logistics.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and field documentation.
• Monitor progress, safety, quality, budget considerations, and subcontractor performance.
• Identify and resolve structural, constructability, scheduling, and coordination issues.
• Conduct subcontractor meetings, jobsite walks, inspections, progress reviews, and punch‑list completion.
• Maintain clear communication with owners, clients, architects, and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• 10+ years of construction experience with significant residential field responsibility.
• Proven track record managing ground‑up multifamily, historic brownstone, full‑gut remodels, or similar urban residential projects.
• Ability to manage two to three active projects without constant oversight.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to travel between job sites throughout the Boston area.

What we offer

• Base salary $120,000 – $160,000 per year, based on experience.
