Senior Service Technician

About the role

The Senior Service Technician supports the physical upkeep of Greystar’s Aventerra property, ensuring buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet safety, appearance and functionality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely, and assist with general cleaning, trash removal, pressure‑washing and minor painting of common areas.

Required profile

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, stand, walk, bend, climb ladders and lift up to 25 lb (50 lb with assistance).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays and respond to on‑call duties.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart where applicable.

Required skills

• EPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
• All state and local certifications required for service technicians.
• Mechanical and HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
