Senior SEO Strategist – Remote (Chicago)

About the role

Logical is looking for a senior SEO strategist who will shape the future of our SEO product and guide high‑impact client accounts. The role is fully remote, based in Chicago, and blends hands‑on technical execution with strategic product vision.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve Logical’s SEO product roadmap, focusing on AI‑driven search, multimodal visibility, schema, and emerging platforms such as LLMs, Reddit and YouTube.
• Lead technical SEO audits covering crawl efficiency, indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data and internationalization, and work with developers to implement fixes.
• Act as the strategic lead for major SEO accounts, aligning road‑maps with measurable business outcomes and advising executives on organic performance impact.
• Collaborate with Insight, Creative and Paid Media teams to create visibility frameworks, content briefs, creative testing and shared signal strategies.
• Monitor AI‑influenced search trends, educate internal teams, and provide guidance on responsible use of generative AI tools for content ideation and auditing.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on SEO experience, including technical audits and cross‑functional strategy.
• Proven track record leading SEO for mid‑to‑large B2B or B2C brands.
• Deep understanding of how AI and large language models are reshaping organic search.
• Strong ability to translate SEO performance into top‑line business metrics.
• Comfort presenting insights to senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Technical SEO expertise (crawl, indexation, Core Web Vitals, schema, internationalization).
• Experience with SEO tools: SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Looker Studio.
• Familiarity with emerging AI platforms such as Perplexity, GPT, Claude.
• Knowledge of AI‑driven search concepts and generative content workflows.
