Senior SEO Strategist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior SEO Strategist to lead SEO strategy for a diverse portfolio of eCommerce and B2B clients at elk Marketing, a fast‑growing digital agency. The role involves shaping performance‑driven SEO campaigns, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute keyword research, site audits, content strategies, and campaign plans for assigned clients.
• Partner with Account Executives, developers, and the technical SEO team to implement recommendations and maintain site health.
• Produce and present performance reports using Looker Studio, Google Search Console, and AgencyAnalytics.
• Review work of SEO Specialists for quality and alignment with strategy.
• Lead client QBRs, roadmap planning, and internal SEO initiatives such as tooling audits and documentation.

Required profile

• 5‑6+ years of SEO experience, preferably in an agency or multi‑client environment.
• Proven ability to own strategy, deliver insights, and mentor teammates.
• Strong communication skills for client calls and internal presentations.
