Senior SEO Specialist

About the role

MGMT Digital, a digital marketing agency focused on ethical marketing for the behavioral healthcare sector, is seeking a Senior SEO Specialist. This fully remote, full‑time position will work closely with the SEO Manager to shape the department and drive organic growth for a portfolio of client websites.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage SEO strategies across 10+ websites.
• Collaborate with the SEO Manager to define department direction and best practices.
• Develop organic growth plans for newly assigned clients.
• Design and execute monthly backlink campaigns for 20+ sites.
• Conduct technical SEO audits, apply fixes, and monitor performance.
• Produce monthly reports with results, insights, and recommendations.
• Handle on‑page, content, and local SEO deliverables, including Google Business Profiles and directory citations.
• Apply E‑E‑A‑T principles and optimize for AI‑driven search experiences.
• Stay current with SEO, AI search, and digital marketing trends.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss performance and strategy, gradually taking on client‑facing duties.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience creating and executing SEO strategies.
• Proven ability to work with both traditional SEO and emerging AI search optimization.
• Experience managing client relationships and communicating strategy, data, and expectations.
• Background in healthcare or behavioral‑healthcare SEO is preferred.
• Strong grasp of technical SEO, content optimization, and local SEO.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Must be located in the United States or Canada.
