Senior SEO & AEO Manager (NYC)

About the role

Venn is looking for its first dedicated in‑house SEO/AEO leader to own the entire organic search function. Based in New York City, you will build the SEO strategy from the ground up and align it directly with revenue‑generating pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Implement technical SEO fixes in WordPress, covering indexing, crawlability, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, structured data and schema.
• Conduct technical audits, lead site migrations, redesigns, and international SEO expansions as the company grows.
• Design and execute a full SEO and AEO strategy, creating keyword architecture, content priorities and a roadmap tied to sales pipeline.
• Monitor Venn’s presence on AI‑driven search surfaces (ChatGPT, AI Overviews) and adjust content, crawlability and structured data to capture citations.
• Collaborate with BDR and sales teams to translate customer calls into keyword targets, content angles and page‑level messaging.
• Own and maintain the SEO tool stack (Ahrefs or Semrush, Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog).
• Report organic performance in terms meaningful to leadership and sales, focusing on pipeline influence rather than just traffic.

Required profile

• 4‑5+ years of hands‑on SEO experience, either in‑house, agency or both, with a proven record of delivering results.
• Deep technical SEO knowledge including crawling, indexing, Core Web Vitals, structured data and site architecture.
• Strong curiosity about AI‑driven search and a clear point of view on AEO trends.
• Self‑directed, outcome‑focused work style with the ability to own an entire function end‑to‑end.
• Excellent communication skills to translate SEO logic for cross‑functional partners.
