About the role
Amentum is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to join its Intel and Cyber division at Fort Meade, MD, supporting DISA. The schedule is 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

- Partner with the Government PMO and Amentum leadership on status reports, the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and project performance metrics.

- Remove impediments for the engineering team and track metrics such as velocity, burn-up/burn-down, cumulative flow and SLA compliance.
- Translate engineering milestones into sprints, epics, features and user stories in Jira/Confluence, and manage the backlog with Product Owners and System Engineers.
- Coordinate schedules with external contractors, site teams and third-party test agencies, run post-project reviews and set up RACI matrices and team operating agreements.
- Lead project readiness reviews, manage authorized service interruptions (ASIs) and help create deployment schedules and checklists.
Required profile
- 15 years of experience in IT project management, systems engineering or technical program execution, including 7 years in hybrid methodologies and 3 years in a senior Scrum Master or Project Manager role.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, Project Management, Systems Engineering or a related field; additional experience can substitute for the degree.
- Proven experience implementing SAFe, PI Planning and Agile Release Trains, and working with Government stakeholders such as DISA PMs.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; ability to work in a SCIF and occasionally in a datacenter, and to travel up to 10%.
- Preferred: PMP, SAFe certifications (SASM, SSM, RTE), PMI-ACP or CSP, and DoD 8140/8570.01-M IAT Level II.
Required skills
- Predictive scheduling and IMS development (MS Project).
- Jira and Confluence, including custom workflows and velocity tracking.
- Risk management and RAID logs.
- Experience with secure cloud environments (AWS GovCloud, Microsoft Azure Government) supporting DoD IL5 or higher is preferred.
