Senior Integrated Master Scheduler

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Senior Integrated Master Scheduler to support a mission-focused program at Fort Meade, Maryland, working closely with DISA's Intel and Cyber Division. You will develop, maintain, analyze and report the program's resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), integrating program plans, work breakdown structures, resources, milestones, dependencies and performance data into a logic-driven schedule. The role works 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday, in a SCIF, and requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update the baseline and forecast IMS using Microsoft Project or an approved tool, with monthly updates and recurring reports for program leadership and Government stakeholders.
• Build a resource-loaded, logically networked schedule covering discrete tasks and level-of-effort activities, decomposed into measurable activities with durations, logic ties, dependencies, milestones and resource assignments.
• Ensure schedule traceability to the WBS, data dictionary, charge-code structure, contract requirements and program-management artifacts, and maintain baselines, forecasts, calendars, coding structures and configuration control.
• Analyze critical and near-critical paths, total float, schedule margin, milestones, dependencies, constraints, overdue activities and forecast impacts, and identify risks and issues.
• Develop mitigation options with functional leads, run schedule-health assessments and recommend corrective actions.
• Support program reviews, integrated product team meetings, status meetings and milestone reviews with current schedule data and briefings.
• Coordinate schedule inputs across technical, operational, logistics, staffing and management functions, and ensure IMS products meet contract data-item requirements and Integrated Program Management reporting standards.
• Maintain schedule documentation such as basis-of-estimate information, narratives, assumptions, data dictionaries, change logs and reporting procedures, and mentor program personnel on schedule discipline and quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, systems engineering, information technology or a related discipline; additional relevant experience may substitute.
• 10 years of progressively responsible experience developing, maintaining and analyzing integrated program schedules for complex Government, defense, technology, systems integration or engineering programs.
• At least 5 years as lead or primary scheduler for a resource-loaded IMS.
• Demonstrated experience as primary or senior scheduler for an IMS integrating multiple workstreams, organizations, dependencies, milestones and resources.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; ability to work in a SCIF daily.
• Ability to support non-standard hours, including maintenance windows, deployment surges and emergency planning, and to travel up to 10%.
• Preferred: PMP, PMI-SP, AACE EVP, GAO/DCMA schedule-quality assessment experience, DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II, and experience integrating schedule data with earned value management.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Project (resource loading, fixed-work tasks, baselining, critical path, calendars, constraints, custom fields, coding, reporting).
• Working knowledge of WBS, schedule traceability, baseline control, risk management and cost, schedule and performance integration.
• Experience aligning Microsoft Project and Jira data with Agile work items.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and leadership skills.
