- Use experimental, computational, AI-enabled and data-analytic approaches to build mechanistic insight and integrate findings across data sources.
- Develop decision criteria and give evidence-based recommendations for target and program go/no-go decisions.
- Lead work groups and project teams, coordinating contributions from multiple disciplines.
- Develop and implement novel scientific approaches, technologies and workflows that improve efficiency and translational relevance.
- Build expertise in small- and large-molecule drug discovery and coach colleagues on scientific and technical matters.
- Communicate project data and recommendations internally and externally, and contribute to publications, presentations, patents and technical reports.
Required profile
- PhD, PharmD or MD (with relevant post-doc), or Master's degree with 3 years of relevant scientific experience, or Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant scientific experience.
- Ability to work independently, make independent scientific decisions and lead scientific activities in project teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication, and experience sharing scientific advice with colleagues.
Required skills
- Experience designing and running experimental studies for target discovery, validation or hypothesis testing.
- Experience with computational biology, AI-enabled tools, advanced data analytics, multimodal data integration or predictive modeling.
- Contributions to scientific documents such as posters, presentations, publications, regulatory documents, patent applications and technical reports.
- Basic knowledge of adjacent fields such as translational science, human genetics, clinical biology, computational biology, protein engineering or small-molecule discovery.
What we offer
- A competitive annual salary range (posted for the U.S., excluding Puerto Rico).
- Health, dental and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, and a retirement savings plan with company contributions.
- Discretionary annual bonus or sales-based incentive plan, stock-based long-term incentives, and flexible work models where possible.
