Senior Robotics Integration Engineer

About the role

As the Senior Robotics Integration Engineer at Charge Robotics, you’ll work full‑stack on hardware and software integration, playing a direct role in deploying gigawatts of clean power generation. Charge Robotics builds robots that construct solar farms, addressing labor bottlenecks in renewable energy deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build, document, test, and iterate on mechatronic systems for the robotic factory.
• Integrate and commission sensors, actuators, control systems, and industrial automation hardware such as motors, hydraulic systems, and robot arms.
• Optimize the interface between mechanical, electrical, and software components to ensure reliability and safety in both factory and field deployments.

Required profile

• Strong experience in mechatronics, robotics integration, or automation engineering with hands‑on hardware and software skills.
• Proficient in at least one programming language (Python) and comfortable reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to instrument, test, and validate complex electromechanical systems, write documentation, use version control, and perform systematic debugging.
