Senior Revenue Manager

About the role

The Senior Revenue Manager will lead the optimization of room and function‑space inventory for a cluster of hotels in New Orleans. You will be responsible for building rates, packages, and sales strategies in the property’s inventory systems while ensuring revenue and profit targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage room authorizations, rates, restrictions, and function‑space inventory to maximize revenue.
• Maintain transient room inventory and release group rooms back to general inventory as needed.
• Implement and monitor sales strategies in reservation and inventory systems, adjusting restrictions based on market conditions.
• Prepare forecasts, budgets, weekly and daily projections, and analyze revenue performance.
• Critique sales strategy effectiveness and provide historical and forward‑looking revenue analyses.
• Collaborate with reservation centers and support cluster selling initiatives.
• Utilize property diagnostic processes (PDP) and conduct revenue tests to improve profitability.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Hospitality Management or related field with at least 3 years of revenue management or sales/marketing experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast demand and evaluate pricing strategies.
• Proven ability to manage inventory across multiple hotel properties.
