Senior Purchasing Manager – US Beef & Dairy (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Purchasing Manager to lead the procurement of premium US beef and imported dairy products for our fast‑growing Caribbean food distribution group. This fully remote position will support our expansion across multiple Caribbean markets, ensuring high‑quality supply and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage international procurement activities for premium US beef categories, including tenderloin, ribeye, ribs, Black Angus, and USDA product lines.
• Source and purchase high‑quality cuts and oversee imported dairy categories such as cheese, cream, and milk.
• Negotiate with international producers and distributors, maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Monitor pricing trends, market conditions, and product availability in global food markets.
• Support inventory planning, forecasting, and supply continuity across Caribbean territories.
• Collaborate closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in international food procurement, purchasing, or category management.
• Proven exposure to the US beef industry and premium beef product categories.
• Knowledge of Black Angus, USDA grading, and imported meat specifications.
• Additional experience in dairy procurement is highly advantageous.
• Commercially astute with strong negotiation and supplier management capabilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment and able to operate remotely.
