Senior Project Manager – Retail Construction

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large‑format retail construction projects for a nationally recognized general contractor. The role will oversee ground‑up builds from pre‑construction through closeout, primarily serving a prominent big‑box retail client.
Key responsibilities
- Lead large‑scale, ground‑up retail projects from concept to completion.
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring aggressive timelines are met.
- Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships and communication.
- Coordinate design, engineering, and field teams to deliver seamless execution.
- Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiations, and contract execution.
- Provide executive‑level reporting and regular project updates.
Required profile
- Extensive construction management experience, preferably in retail, big‑box, warehouse, or distribution center projects.
- Proven track record of leading large‑scale projects.
- Willingness to travel across the Southeast and Northeast regions.
