Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead the planning and execution of strategic facility projects across UHS locations in New York. This role ensures projects align with budget, schedule, and patient‑care priorities while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, work schedules, and resource allocations.
• Oversee bid packages, vendor proposals, and RFP processes to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Lead project meetings, including MEP coordination and stakeholder updates.
• Monitor daily progress through site visits, manage risks, and protect patient‑care environments.
• Control financial performance by tracking budgets, change orders, and capital requisitions.
• Manage project documentation such as permits, ICRA, and ILSM reports.
• Lead project closeout activities, including staff training and equipment installation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 6 years of project or construction management experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Proven ability to interpret floor plans and manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple UHS facilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CAD software.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
