Senior Project Manager – Industrial & Manufacturing Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex industrial and manufacturing construction projects for a respected design‑build contractor. The role spans the full project lifecycle from pre‑construction through close‑out, acting as the primary liaison for clients, design partners, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design‑build projects from concept to completion, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget targets are met.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams to drive successful project delivery.
• Oversee contract administration, change orders, risk mitigation, and procurement activities.
• Monitor financial performance, forecasting, and reporting throughout the project.
• Collaborate with Superintendents on site logistics, construction sequencing, and safety initiatives.
• Build and sustain strong client relationships to generate repeat business.
• Mentor junior Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other project staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive project management experience in industrial or manufacturing construction.
• Proven track record delivering projects valued over $10 million using design‑build delivery methods.
• Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, and contract management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Primavera P6.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
• Experience using Procore.
• Experience using CMiC or similar project management software.
