Senior Project Manager – Healthcare IT Projects

About the role

The Senior Project Manager (HDIP) leads the full lifecycle of complex healthcare‑focused IT initiatives, from analysis and initiation through planning, execution, and closeout. Reporting to the Director of PMO, you will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage vendors, and ensure projects deliver on scope, schedule, and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, risk and issue registers, and governance frameworks.
• Manage budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and financial forecasts from start to finish.
• Oversee data integrations, data warehousing, analytics, and dashboard development across multiple systems.
• Lead vendor and system integrator relationships for large‑scale implementations.
• Present status updates and decisions to executive steering committees.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, IT or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of IT project management experience, including construction, research, infrastructure, and application projects.
• Proven ability to drive outcomes, enforce decisions, and hold resources accountable.
• Experience implementing HR, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, ERP, and Timekeeping solutions in a healthcare environment.
