AI Engineer

About the role

Capsule is building the world’s most intuitive AI‑powered video editing tool for modern teams. As an AI Engineer you will work closely with the founders and product and engineering teams to design, implement, and deploy machine‑learning models that power new and improved features.

Key responsibilities

• Research and evaluate new ML techniques and technologies applicable to the product.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and prioritize ML feature development opportunities.
• Develop and implement ML models and algorithms to power these features.
• Optimize model performance and accuracy through testing and iterative development.
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to other team members.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as an AI/ML engineer in a commercial software development setting.
• Computer Science or related degree.
• Strong proficiency in Python and at least one deep‑learning framework (e.g., PyTorch).
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, model selection and optimization.
• Experience building and deploying ML models in production environments.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Interest in video technology.
