Senior Project Manager – Design‑Build Construction

About the role

Clayco is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large‑scale design‑build construction projects across the United States. You will oversee projects from concept through closeout, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and planners to create and manage design schedules.
• Establish project forecasts, budgets, and cost controls.
• Take full responsibility for project execution and delivery.
• Mentor and develop junior project management staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of experience managing $50M+ design‑build construction projects.
• Strong safety record and commitment to quality.
• Proven experience with project set‑up, budget planning, contract buy‑out, and cost reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead successful project management teams.
• Physical ability to walk job sites, climb ladders, work on multi‑floor scaffolding, and lift at least 50 lb.
