Senior Project Manager – Construction (Healthcare & Life Sciences)

About the role

Our client, a long‑standing general contractor with a national footprint, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large, complex construction projects in the healthcare and life‑science sectors across the United States. The role offers ownership of the full project lifecycle, from pre‑construction through close‑out, while driving profitability and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects through all phases, managing scope, schedule, budget, and profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, design partners, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Direct pre‑construction activities, including RFP responses and estimate reviews.
• Champion Lean construction principles and company best practices on every project.
• Participate in business development efforts such as client events, industry conferences, and lead identification.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience managing large construction projects, preferably in healthcare, higher education, life sciences, or similar sectors.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• PMP certification preferred but not required.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 25% of the time.
