Senior Project Manager – Building Automation

About the role

Siemens is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple building‑automation projects for critical institutions such as hospitals, universities and industrial facilities. The role is based at our Sandy, UT branch and supports customers throughout the greater Salt Lake City area.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate project specifications, drawings and related documents to develop comprehensive schedules.
• Oversee procurement of supplies and materials, and participate in cost reviews to ensure financial efficiency.
• Assist the Operations Manager in contracting and coordinating subcontractors, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget and safety regulations.
• Conduct orientations for project technicians and distribute all necessary documentation, including scope of work and technical drawings.
• Track project resources and progress, document schedule or scope impacts, and pursue change‑order opportunities.
• Manage project billing coordination, schedule commissioning resources, and ensure timely completion of close‑out documentation.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or state‑recognized GED.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction project management with hands‑on execution, subcontractor coordination, schedule and cost control.
• Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong focus on safety, client satisfaction and timely project delivery.
