About the role
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the construction of large‑scale, ground‑up big‑box grocery stores for a nationally recognized general contractor. The role oversees projects from pre‑construction through close‑out, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end delivery of retail construction projects averaging 150,000+ sq ft.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and drive performance against strict timelines.
- Coordinate design, engineering, and field teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiate contracts, and oversee on‑site execution.
- Control project budgets, track costs, and report status to senior leadership.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing ground‑up construction of large retail, warehouse, or distribution facilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams on complex, high‑value projects.
- Willingness to travel approximately 3–4 days per month to project sites.
