Senior Production Manager - Landscape Maintenance

About the role

Gardens of Babylon Landscapes is looking for an experienced Senior Production Manager to lead the day-to-day performance of its Landscape Maintenance branch in Nashville. The role oversees maintenance team leaders and field crews, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to quality standards, and also serves as the company's Safety Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise residential and commercial maintenance teams and coach, train and support team leaders and crew members.
• Schedule crews, coordinate weekly routing and monitor field efficiency, labor costs, job earnings and estimated hours.
• Report budget variances to the Maintenance Branch Manager, conduct monthly property audits and quality assessments, and review maintenance estimates.
• Work with Account Managers on customer service and client retention, manage job paperwork, timesheets, tickets and receipts, and oversee subcontractors.
• Support employees' pesticide applicator certifications and Category 3 licensing, co-lead biweekly operations and safety meetings, and attend new-property kickoffs.
• As Safety Manager: deliver recurring safety training, keep attendance records, run safety inspections and risk assessments, support incident investigations and promote OSHA and other safety compliance.

Required profile

• At least five years of experience in residential or commercial landscape maintenance or enhancement operations, including leading maintenance teams and field crews.
• Current OSHA certification and strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
• Valid driver's license meeting the company's vehicle-insurability requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform the physical duties of the position.
• Spanish proficiency is helpful; candidates must be willing to develop working Spanish.
