Fine Gardening Team Leader

About the role

Gardens of Babylon, a luxury landscaping company serving residential and commercial clients in Nashville and Middle Tennessee since 2003, is looking for an experienced Maintenance Fine Gardening Team Leader. The role leads landscape maintenance operations with hands-on work, crew leadership, customer service, training and operational support, working closely with the Customer Service Manager and Production Manager. Overtime may be required.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance crews to ensure quality work, assist team leaders and field staff, and monitor crew departure times each morning
• Train team leaders and crew members on company SOPs, new technology, safety systems, communication tools and purchasing software
• Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain high quality workmanship standards
• Help run monthly Maintenance Operations Meetings and bi-weekly Safety Meetings
• Promote and enforce safe work practices and support the goal of zero lost time accidents
• Complete weekly mower maintenance and help the team meet field efficiency, audit completion and zero lost time accident targets

Required profile

• Valid driver's license
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a maintenance team leader
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical duties outdoors in varying conditions
• Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance and fine gardening practices
• Willingness to keep learning and growing professionally
