Senior Product Manager - Cloud Volumes ONTAP

About the role

NetApp is looking for a Senior Product Manager to define and drive the strategy and roadmap for Cloud Volumes ONTAP. The role suits a strong senior individual contributor who combines customer focus, technical depth and business judgment. The person works closely with GTM, cloud partners and customers to identify growth opportunities, prioritize investments and bring new capabilities to market.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the product vision, strategy and business plans for Cloud Volumes ONTAP, aligned with customer needs, market opportunities and company objectives.
• Evaluate customer needs, market trends and competitive developments to set investment priorities.
• Own key parts of the product lifecycle: discovery, planning, roadmap, prioritization, delivery and optimization.
• Define and prioritize product requirements across cloud storage, data management, automation, cyber resilience and operational simplicity.
• Partner with engineering leaders to turn product strategy into roadmap investments and customer outcomes.
• Work with AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud teams on integrations and joint customer success.
• Shape the strategy for AI-driven and automation capabilities.
• Gather customer feedback, usage data, competitive insights and market research to guide roadmap decisions.
• Partner with product marketing, sales, support and customer success teams on positioning, launches and adoption.
• Track product and business metrics and lead cross-functional collaboration.

Required profile

• 10+ years of product management experience in enterprise software, cloud or storage technology businesses.
• Proven experience delivering technology products from concept through launch and ongoing iteration.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a master's degree, or equivalent experience.
• Experience working across engineering, product management, GTM, marketing, support and partner teams.
• Ability to define requirements, prioritize and drive execution across multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills, and comfort in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Cloud technologies are required; storage technologies are a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and IaaS/PaaS products, especially AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.
• Experience using customer insights, usage analytics and market data to guide product decisions.
• Understanding of AI-driven capabilities, automation and AI governance, compliance and security is an advantage.

What we offer

• Target OTE of 196,350 - 292,600 USD, depending on location, qualifications and experience.
