Senior Product Engineering Technician

About the role

Moog is a performance‑driven company that empowers its people to solve challenging technical problems. The Senior Product Engineering Technician will report to the SDG Staff Engineering Manager and work onsite in Buffalo, NY, supporting the Space and Defense Group’s production hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and evaluate engineering tests and inspections on high‑precision electrohydraulic servo components.
• Perform data reduction, trending and analysis of engineering reports for assigned projects.
• Prepare and approve production Assembly/Test documentation, worksheets and customer acceptance test procedures.
• Assist foremen and technicians with equipment use, test failure diagnosis and rework.
• Monitor producibility, drive continuous improvements and act as technical liaison with customers.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in Engineering or equivalent with at least 3 years of production test technician experience, or a high‑school diploma/GED with 7 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to read and follow written and computer work instructions in English.
• Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations.

• Electrohydraulic servo component testing and diagnostics.
