Senior Product Engineer - ArcGIS Business Analyst Enterprise

About the role

Esri is looking for a Senior Product Engineer for its ArcGIS Business Analyst Enterprise product. You will join a collaborative development and product engineering team that builds, tests and enhances mapping and analytics solutions, helping organizations make smarter, data-driven decisions. The role suits GIS professionals interested in enterprise software development, GIS analysis, visualization and integration.

Key responsibilities

• Become an ArcGIS Enterprise Business Analyst extension technical expert and work with developers, product engineers, product managers and other stakeholders on product quality and release readiness.
• Contribute to the software product life cycle: requirements definition, continuous improvement, UX design, testing, documentation, release and support.
• Identify and track software issues, build reproducible QA scenarios and communicate test results.
• Create product demonstrations, presentations, videos, blogs and supporting materials that guide user best practices.
• Triage and prioritize customer issues, gather customer requirements and evaluate new features for future releases.
• Support software migration and development across enterprise and highly scalable environments, and multi-national on-premise data packages and components.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with Esri software including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, able to explain complex concepts to varied audiences.
• Understanding of the ArcGIS APIs and location services such as GeoEnrichment.
• Experience debugging web services and client applications with browser developer tools and tools such as Fiddler.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment while being self-driven.
• Bachelor's degree in geography, GIS, computer science or a related field.

Required skills

• Extensive knowledge of Windows and Linux; working knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Preferred: technical documentation, cloud technology such as Amazon Web Services, ArcGIS scripting languages and automation tools (Python, Arcade, Pipelines, ModelBuilder, Geoprocessing).
• Preferred: Agile software development and testing, and familiarity with AI standards and protocols including LLMs and agentic systems.
