Senior Procurement Specialist

About the role

CF Industries is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to support the high‑visibility Blue Point green‑field project. You will work closely with the project procurement team to align sourcing activities with the project schedule and corporate standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the project procurement team in meeting short‑ and long‑term goals aligned with Blue Point plans.
• Manage supplier cost, safety, risk, reliability and capability considerations.
• Develop and execute contracting strategies that meet organizational expectations.
• Ensure compliance with procurement processes and increase procurement involvement throughout the project.
• Maintain key supplier relationships in partnership with stakeholders to generate value.
• Facilitate continuous stakeholder engagement during procurement activities.
• Participate in stage‑gate reviews, providing input on procurement outcomes.
• Contribute to risk‑management planning for contracts, supply, and supplier performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project‑focused procurement within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of supplier risk, cost management, and safety considerations.
• Ability to develop and implement contracting strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and stakeholder communication.
• Familiarity with risk‑management processes related to contracts and supply chains.
