Senior Procurement Analyst – Paper & Packaging

About the role

Chipotle is seeking a Senior Procurement Analyst to lead category management for paper and packaging supplies. You will shape supplier strategy, drive sustainability initiatives, and support the company’s growth through effective sourcing and network optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with planning to expand and strengthen the international and domestic paper & packaging supplier network.
• Identify and execute margin‑improving, risk‑reducing, and performance‑optimizing opportunities while maintaining quality and sustainability standards.
• Support Food with Integrity projects, ensuring compliance with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations and sustainability targets.
• Collaborate with Brand and Marketing to align packaging design, innovation, and messaging with brand standards.
• Analyze commodity markets, provide price forecasts, and make contract and allocation recommendations.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring policy adherence and resolving supplier issues with logistics.
• Work with FSQA, Brand, and Marketing to develop and update packaging specifications for food safety, regulatory compliance, and operational feasibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related discipline.
