About the role

The AGS Supply Business Manager will lead supply‑chain projects for Applied Materials, ensuring supplier performance, cost efficiency, and capacity readiness across key sites. This full‑time position works closely with the Supplier Account Manager to execute strategic initiatives that support the company’s semiconductor and display manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead AGS projects assigned by the Supplier Account Manager, executing the TCQC Supplier strategy and commodity strategy across the supply base.
• Drive tactical resolution of supply‑chain issues that affect quality, cost, delivery or lead‑time for the assigned supplier site and its sub‑tiers.
• Provide escalation support for procurement matters at the supplier site, ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Support commercial and technical cost‑reduction programs to improve profitability.
• Execute supplier site capacity‑readiness programs, coordinating with internal teams to meet production demand.

Required profile

• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in supply‑chain discipline with basic knowledge of related functions.
• Acts as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues and may lead small, low‑risk projects.
• Solves complex problems by analyzing multiple information sources and applying sound judgment.
