Senior Process Consultant - Mineral Processing (Remote, USA)

About the role

A recruiter is partnering with a confidential client to build and lead a customer-facing consulting capability across North America. The role suits a senior mineral processing professional who enjoys working alongside plant operators, diagnosing real performance constraints and delivering practical, decision-grade improvement strategies. It is described as remote, with extensive travel across North America.

Key responsibilities

• Lead customer discovery to understand flowsheets, KPIs, constraints and performance gaps
• Diagnose plant issues through on-site assessments, data analysis and operator engagement
• Design and lead structured sampling and diagnostic campaigns that are safe, disciplined and decision-grade
• Translate findings into clear, implementable improvement recommendations
• Facilitate technical workshops with operators, site leadership and senior stakeholders
• Coordinate internal technical capabilities, including testwork programs and engineering studies
• Produce high-quality customer-facing technical reports in professional English
• Show visible safety leadership and ensure full site compliance

Required profile

• 10+ years in mineral processing, metallurgy or plant performance consulting
• Strong gravimetric circuit expertise (mandatory)
• Proven track record diagnosing plant issues and delivering performance improvements
• Experience leading sampling campaigns and turning data into decisions
• Excellent written and verbal English
• Willingness to travel extensively across North America
