Senior Principal, Fund Assurance

About the role

The Senior Principal, Fund Assurance provides independent oversight and strategic guidance across mutual funds, ETFs, and complex investment products. You will strengthen controls, governance, and third‑party administrator oversight while driving a scalable assurance framework.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as senior assurance lead and technical escalation point for complex fund accounting matters, including NAV exceptions, pricing issues, and structural events.
• Apply independent judgment to assess accounting, operational, and control issues in line with regulatory guidance, GAAP, and internal policies.
• Execute SQP tools such as issue logs, open items, KPIs, and sentiment indexes to improve outcomes at TPAs.
• Partner with Fund Assurance leadership and stakeholders to enhance execution quality, control integrity, and risk‑based oversight.
• Advise on accounting and control considerations for derivatives, structured instruments, private or illiquid investments, and non‑standard pricing inputs.
• Drive innovation through automation, data analytics, AI‑enabled solutions, and enhanced use of fund accounting systems.

Required profile

• Extensive accounting and regulatory expertise in fund accounting.
• Strong judgment and ability to influence outcomes through collaboration.
• Experience with risk monitoring, governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Proven track record of leading complex, non‑routine accounting issues.
