Senior Plant Maintenance Technician

About the role

Envirogen is seeking an experienced Senior Plant Maintenance Technician to join its team in Memphis, Tennessee, supporting the operation and maintenance of an ion exchange regeneration facility. The role works closely with the Plant Manager and Engineering team to keep the facility safe, reliable and efficient, taking ownership of preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs and installations, and helping drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance across the facility.
• Troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain pumps, blowers, compressors, piping systems, instrumentation, flow meters, gauges and other process equipment.
• Maintain maintenance documentation such as work orders, spare parts inventory and parts requisitions.
• Work with Plant Management and Engineering to improve plant reliability, performance and operating procedures.
• Support environmental, health and safety compliance and conduct monthly site safety audits.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, including obtaining quotations, supporting contractor selection, overseeing site works and ensuring quality standards.

Required profile

• Experience in industrial plant maintenance.
• Experience with pumps, compressors, piping systems, instrumentation and industrial process equipment.
• Able to work independently and manage changing priorities.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Advantageous: welding, fabrication, general construction or heavy equipment operation experience, and OSHA 40-hour training.
