Resident Maintenance Technician 3

About the role

The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 provides day‑to‑day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance for material handling equipment at the Memphis, TN site. The role includes mentoring colleagues and working a rotating night shift.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and maintain material handling equipment, including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, and lubrication.
• Perform preventative maintenance routines, document work, and follow procedures.
• Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot circuitry and resolve semi‑complex problems.
• Create and close work orders in an asset management system, recording labor hours, parts, and equipment details.
• Locate and track spare parts, respond to service calls, and ensure equipment meets specifications.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or vocational training preferred.
• 2‑3 years of experience troubleshooting electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand/walk 10–12 hours, and work in varied conditions (dust, noise, temperature extremes).
• Flexibility to cover multiple shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
