Lead Power Systems Engineer (Hybrid)

About the role

Eaton is seeking a Lead Power Systems Engineer to join its regional team in the Tennessee/Kentucky area. This hybrid position blends on‑site project work with remote technical analysis, supporting customers on power system studies, quality analysis, installation, and training.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical consultation for power‑system studies, power‑quality analysis, design, installation, startup, maintenance, repair, and training.
• Independently manage medium‑sized projects, delivering on schedule and within budget while maintaining cost accountability.
• Interpret customer specifications to create tailored proposals and pricing strategies.
• Conduct Short‑Circuit, LV/MV Coordination, and Arc‑Flash studies with precision.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering technical growth and collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• Minimum 7 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Residency within 50 mi of Knoxville, Nashville, Memphis (TN) or Louisville (KY).
• No immigration sponsorship or relocation assistance provided.
