Senior People Systems & Integrations Analyst

About the role

The People Operations and Technology team at Chainalysis is looking for a senior analyst to own and evolve the people technology ecosystem, with a strong focus on Workday configuration, integrations, and cross‑system workflows. This dual‑focused role (about 60% functional, 40% technical) will drive automation, AI‑enabled solutions, and seamless interoperability across HR systems.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of enhancements across Workday and the broader People Tech stack, ensuring scalable, high‑quality solutions.
• Configure and maintain Workday HCM (business processes, security, notifications, reporting) for key employee lifecycle events.
• Design, build, and maintain integrations between Workday and external systems (e.g., Adaptive, Ashby, payroll providers) using tools such as Workato and Workday Studio.
• Monitor integration health, troubleshoot failures, and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Identify and implement automation and AI‑assisted workflows to improve data integrity and reduce manual effort.
• Partner with People, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and BizTech stakeholders to translate business needs into effective system solutions.
• Support workforce planning and headcount data flows between Workday and Adaptive Planning.
• Maintain documentation, governance standards, and change‑management best practices.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of techno‑functional experience with Workday HCM.
• Strong hands‑on experience configuring Workday (business processes, security, reporting, notifications).
• Proven experience building or supporting Workday integrations (EIB, RaaS, Core Connectors, Studio).
• Experience working cross‑functionally with People, Finance, Payroll, and technical teams.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, non‑technical language.
• Comfort owning projects end‑to‑end in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Workday HCM configuration and integration (EIB, RaaS, Core Connectors, Studio).
• API knowledge, data‑flow design, and integration patterns.
• Automation/iPaaS platforms such as Workato.
• AI‑powered automation tools and emerging AI technologies.
• Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Familiarity with ATS platforms (e.g., Ashby).
• Experience with payroll and EOR integrations (ADP, Activpayroll, Deel).
• Okta, NetSuite, Coupa, Jira, Slack, Google Workspace.
