Senior Payments Strategy Manager

About the role

Roku is looking for a Senior Payments Strategy Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of its global payments platform. You will lead initiatives that drive subscription acquisition, conversion, retention, and revenue optimization for millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the product lifecycle for the Payments Platform, from strategy through roadmap to delivery.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Legal, Risk, and external payment providers to ensure reliable, cost‑efficient payment capabilities.
• Lead performance‑driven projects to improve authorization rates, renewal recovery, and overall revenue.
• Manage end‑to‑end relationships with external payment partners, including commercial alignment, integration, and performance reviews.
• Develop and refine optimization systems that enhance payment experience across TV, web, mobile, and advertising interfaces.

Required profile

• Proven product leadership experience in payments or subscription‑based services.
• Strong data‑driven decision‑making skills with ability to measure and report outcomes.
• Excellent collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Experience managing large‑scale, global payment ecosystems.
