Senior Outreach Manager – Alaska and Washington

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco is seeking a Senior Outreach Manager to lead community development initiatives across Alaska and Washington. You will work with a diverse set of stakeholders to identify needs, foster partnerships, and promote economic opportunity for low‑ and moderate‑income communities, including Native American, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian populations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to financial institutions, community‑based organizations, local government agencies, and Native‑serving groups to uncover development needs and solutions.
• Plan and host events, roundtables, and meetings that bring together strategic partners and resources.
• Monitor emerging trends, such as AI, new funding models, and public‑private partnership innovations, and disseminate insights to the sector.
• Share Federal Reserve research tools and findings to support community‑focused initiatives.

Required profile

• Extensive knowledge of community development issues, including credit access, housing, labor participation, and neighborhood revitalization in Washington and Alaska.
• Established relationships with nonprofits, government agencies, financial institutions, and CDFIs serving low‑ and moderate‑income communities.
• Demonstrated experience working with Native communities and Native‑serving organizations.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, trend spotting, and collaborative mindset.
