Senior Organizational Communications Specialist

About the role

The Minneapolis Fed’s Public Affairs division is seeking a Senior Organizational Communications Specialist to lead large‑scale internal communication campaigns. You will partner with business leaders and stakeholders to shape messaging that supports the Bank’s mission and culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate communication and marketing strategies for the organization and its products.
• Draft, edit, and disseminate content for a broad employee audience across multiple channels, including digital signage, custom calendars, the intranet, email newsletters, and large events.
• Coordinate communication lines among employees, stakeholders, and executives to ensure consistent messaging.
• Manage the editorial integrity and structure of the intranet site, providing guidance and training to content editors.
• Support Bank‑wide projects and workgroups by delivering writing, editing, and strategic communication expertise.
• Design and analyze surveys or feedback mechanisms to gather employee insights and inform communication tactics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic communications planning and account management.
• Strong project‑management capabilities with a track record of delivering multi‑channel campaigns.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse internal audiences.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
