Senior Operations Research Analyst

About the role

The Senior Operations Research Analyst will lead complex analyses of water operations, asset and maintenance management, and operational data to develop actionable insights and support decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and conduct advanced operations research studies, defining problems, gathering data from multiple sources, and applying modeling and simulation techniques.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and economic forecasts using SCADA, Power BI, Aveva Historian, and enterprise databases.
• Collaborate across departments to assess trends, forecast operational data, and present recommendations for asset‑management strategies.
• Supervise a small team of professional staff, set performance goals, and provide coaching and feedback.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with water operations, asset and maintenance management, and operational data analysis.
• Proven ability to work with engineers and operational staff to translate complex problems into data‑driven solutions.
• Strong analytical judgment, initiative, and creativity in developing optimized operational systems.
