Senior Network Security Engineer

About the role

CACI is looking for an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to design, evaluate and secure complex network and hardware systems that support intelligence operations. The role involves working with mission stakeholders, engineers and technical teams to deliver secure, reliable solutions. It is a regular, full-time position based in Columbia with up to 10% local travel, and requires a minimum clearance of TS/SCI with polygraph.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct onsite assessments and document current network architectures and mission-specific requirements.
• Lead and coordinate hardware installations across multiple environments and recommend hardware specifications.
• Model and analyze proposed solutions for systems engineering teams, and design, verify and implement hardware test interfaces.
• Perform MTBF/MTTR analyses, analyze operational data for vulnerabilities and performance gaps, and evaluate LAN/WAN designs against mission security needs.
• Research and assess COTS/GOTS technologies, and contribute to technical standards, interface specifications and network troubleshooting.
• Ensure designs meet government security requirements, develop security documentation, and support wired and wireless network analysis and optimization.
• Conduct vendor comparisons, cost studies, scalability assessments, and independent evaluations of complex network ecosystems.

Required profile

• Active NSA TS/SCI with polygraph.
• 8+ years of network security engineering experience supporting complex SIGINT hardware systems.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field, or 5 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
• At least three of the listed certifications (PCNSA, SNSA, SNSP, Symantec ProxySG 6.7 Technical Specialist, Cisco CCNA or higher).
