About the role

This senior position offers a results‑driven sales professional the chance to lead strategic national accounts within the consumer health and wellness space. You will oversee key customer relationships, drive revenue growth, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to execute impactful commercial strategies across a dynamic retail network.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage national customer relationships within the Food class of trade, ensuring achievement of revenue, profitability, and ROI objectives.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with sales targets, promotional strategies, and long‑term growth goals.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to third‑party sales agencies and brokerage partners, including coaching, performance oversight, and training initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, finance, trade marketing, and demand planning teams to align on pricing, promotions, forecasting, and product placement strategies.
  • Manage account‑level P&L responsibilities, including trade spend, forecasting, brokerage fees, and customer deductions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations using market insights, syndicated data, and customer analytics to support strategic selling initiatives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with key decision‑makers across retail partners.
  • Contribute to process improvements and commercial initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and business performance.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 5‑8 years of consumer packaged goods (CPG) sales experience with a strong record of exceeding sales goals.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing or selling into Kroger accounts within health, beauty, or wellness categories.
  • Previous mid‑level sales management experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, forecasting, promotional planning and retail analytics.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business situations and develop strategic solutions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proven experience collaborating across internal teams and external partners to drive business success.
