Senior Multi‑Site Community Manager

About the role

The Senior Multi‑Site Community Manager oversees the day‑to‑day operations of two or more assigned multifamily properties in Virginia Beach. This position leads on‑site teams, manages financial performance, and ensures compliance with company policies and housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and input property budgets by analyzing financial statements, market data, and operational reports.
• Achieve revenue targets by setting rent rates, collecting rent and fees, processing bank deposits, and preparing monthly financial status reports.
• Approve vendor and contractor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges correctly, and coordinate payments.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, rent discounts, renewals, inspections, notices, evictions, and collection of late fees.
• Monitor market and economic trends, and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing and leasing strategies to maintain optimal occupancy.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multiple multifamily properties and leading on‑site teams.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other multifamily housing regulations.
• Demonstrated financial acumen with ability to develop budgets, analyze performance, and control costs.
• Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
