Senior Mechanical Engineer - HVAC

About the role

Artheon is looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and implementation of HVAC, plumbing and fire‑protection systems across a variety of community‑focused projects. The role combines hands‑on technical work with project leadership, client interaction and mentorship of junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical system design for HVAC, plumbing and fire‑protection on public, institutional and infrastructure projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies, perform load calculations, size systems and select appropriate equipment.
• Prepare mechanical drawings, technical specifications and construction documents that meet code and client requirements.
• Manage multiple projects through design and construction phases, coordinating with civil, electrical, architectural and structural teams.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for clients, contractors and other project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Senior‑level mechanical engineer with proven experience in MEP and infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and mentor junior staff.
• Strong communication skills for client and multidisciplinary team interaction.
