Professional Stormwater Engineer

About the role

Artheon is looking for a Professional Stormwater Engineer to join its East Brunswick (or Neptune) office. The engineer will work on land‑development, infrastructure design, and municipal projects, delivering high‑quality stormwater solutions for local, state, and federal clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop civil engineering designs, including site layouts, grading, drainage, and utilities using CAD tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Prepare and submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with project managers, surveyors, and other engineering disciplines to create integrated design solutions.
• Produce technical reports, feasibility studies, and calculations to support design decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of civil engineering design experience, preferably in land development or municipal projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience using HydroCAD and HEC‑RAS.
• Familiarity with stormwater management software.
