About the role
Reliable Robotics is developing safety‑enhancing technology for aviation. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer you will own hardware from concept through flight test and certification, working closely with cross‑functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design, analyze, build, test, and fly actuator systems, mechanisms, and structural modifications for remote‑piloted aircraft.
- Lead cross‑functional trade studies, drive performance decisions, and ensure cradle‑to‑grave engineering ownership.
Required profile
- BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent) with 5+ years of professional experience.
- Demonstrated project ownership and mastery of at least one area: design, analysis, manufacturing, test, or certification.
Required skills
- Mechanical design and structural analysis, including failure‑mode assessment.
- Experience with CAD systems, configuration management, PLM, ERP, and MRP tools.
