Avionics Hardware Engineer

About the role

Reliable Robotics is developing safety‑enhancing aviation technology. The Avionics Hardware team builds core compute, actuation, sensing, and power electronics for automated flight systems. As an Avionics Hardware Engineer you will own hardware from circuit‑board design through integrated system deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyze, document, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies from board level to integrated electro‑mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, manufacturing, and test engineers as the hardware expert.
• Drive hardware improvements through benchtop, environmental, and on‑aircraft testing and perform root‑cause investigations in a safety‑critical environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to complete and ship hardware projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ECAD tools such as Altium.
• Experience with analog, digital, and mixed‑signal circuit design, analysis, test, and debug.
• Python and/or MATLAB for data analysis and test scripting.
