Senior Marketing Data Specialist

About the role

Esri is looking for a Senior Marketing Data and Segmentation Specialist in Redlands. The role uses a data-driven approach to support marketing initiatives and campaigns across various channels, combining analytics, strategic thinking and creativity. It works closely with Market Intelligence teams to turn data insights into segmentation and enrichment initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Market Intelligence teams to identify and assess market opportunities using data-driven methods, and implement data governance best practices for quality, security and compliance
• Generate clear reports on key insights and performance metrics and present findings to stakeholders and leadership
• Identify customer segments based on intent and engagement, build reusable foundational segments and execute enrichment opportunities for key markets, industries or roles
• Work with colleagues across marketing to understand campaign requirements and align on goals, shaping audience and segmentation strategy
• Analyze market trends and customer behavior, monitor campaign performance and recommend optimizations
• Streamline data collection, storage and analysis processes and mentor colleagues

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience building segmentations in a marketing automation platform such as Marketo, Pardot or similar
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, data science, statistics, business analytics or a related field
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams, with strong communication and presentation skills
• Visa sponsorship is not available; applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.; occasional travel up to about 20% may be required

Required skills

• 2+ years with statistical analysis tools and data visualization software
• Advanced SQL query development
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud (AAM, AA) and Power BI
• Advanced Excel, including formulas, VBA and macros

• Estimated base salary of $83,200-$135,200 USD
